119/365: Lint Feeder
Yes, you've heard of a bird feeder, and this is for the birds too! Its a ceramic art piece that you can pack your dryer lint into for the birds, instead of leaving the lint on the yard. You can get them here!

Spent time in the garden dealing with the rabbit damage. Replanted the broccoli and the cabbage (not sure how well it'll do now that its getting warmer). The bok choy, lettuce, and brussels sprouts are recovering well on their own. I made some hot pepper spray and hot pepper powder, then applied both to the plants. The rabbits haven't been back. The ultimate goal is to fence the garden in, there is just too much good habitat for them on the woodline.

ASPARAGUS!
Spent much of the morning weeding the asparagus bed, and I was very pleased to see the spring's first spears starting to push through. An excellent sign that the morel season will soon start!

Boxes Rising
Finally! Some nice weather. I have four of the six boxes nearly finished. Just have to wait for the linseed oil to dry. then I can staple on the weed blocker cloth and place them. Two more to make, but my little household strength cordless screwdriver only has enough oomph to drive about 16 2.5" screws before ir needs a recharge.

Who You Trying To Jive With That Kitchen Debris?
I forgot to take a picture of the kitchen before the contractor demolished it, but here it is out on the lawn! The guys are finishing up the floor and trim work today, its painted, and the rough electrical is done. Just waiting on the countertops, cabinets, and appliances now!
The bathroom is essentially done, but the workers are storing their tools in there, so no pics yet.

...and we have plenty of lettuce in the garden to make some nice salads. The radishes are just about ready too! I might have to buy some fresh mozzarella cheese to go with the fresh basil and tomatoes!

Gus
I decided to name the mushroom "Gus," not after the Pennsylvania Lottery's mascot, but because Gus is a fun guy.

Friday Squirrel Blogging!
This furry fellow was VERY upset when Dusty camped under its tree to munch on her rawhide. The squirrel spent about 10 minutes chattering at Dusty before deciding to run off and find a new tree. Dusty completely ignored the noisy rodent.
