Project Pantry

We haven't had a Project Pantry update in a while, so here's the latest.

Supplies are dwindling, but there is still a heck of a lot of food in there. Most of it now consists of the canned fruit, vegetable, and bean categories, I've managed to consume most of the mixes and helpers.

I think the reason it is taking me so long to eat through this monument to hoarding is that I live by myself. For example, I made fajitas this week, which consumed a can of black beans and a package of fajita mix (I bought the chicken fresh, of course). That however, will feed me for a week.

Some observations: Why do I have six cans of baked beans, of various sizes, in there? There's also four cans of corn, four cans of tomatos, and four cans of fruit. There's about 10 packages of taco seasoning and gravy mixes.

But I am making progress. No non-perishables purchased since the end of April.

Rust

I often see photographs of rust. Why to photographers take pictures of rust? I don't know, but I figured I better take one, lest I get in trouble from some Ancient Order of Photographers for not taking a picture of rust.

Magic Cat!

And to think I spent all that time in the garden while Smokie was capable of pooping out tomatos!

Williow

So my parents took me to Willow! This place sits in the center of a parking lot, so why do they offer valet parking? I'm perfectly capable of parking my own car, thank you.

I started with the Calamari. What, no tentacles??
